ENGINEERING & DESIGN FEATURES

Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, offering reliable bi-directional sealing and extended service life.

1. Anti-Blowout Stem

The upper shaft features a retained groove design to prevent stem blowout under pressurized conditions, ensuring operational safety.

2. Bi-Directional Zero Leakage

Precision-machined disc edge and optimized seat interference provide bubble-tight shutoff in both flow directions at full rated pressure.

3. Low Operating Torque

Self-lubricating bronze or PTFE-lined bearings reduce stem friction, allowing for lower torque requirements and smaller gear operators.

4. Vulcanized or Replaceable Seat

Seats are available in internally vulcanized forms for vacuum applications or replaceable cartridges for easy field maintenance.

5. Streamlined Disc Design

The ductile iron disc is engineered with a hydrodynamic profile to minimize pressure drop and maximize flow capacity (CV).

6. Heavy-Duty FBE Coating

Minimum 250µm Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) powder coating on both inside and outside surfaces protects against severe corrosion.
